Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in core subjects such as Mathematics AND English language arts, tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Utilize various learning technologies and digital resources to enhance instruction and facilitate online learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior and encouraging active participation from students of all ages.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each learner’s development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across multiple subjects, especially in math, or English language arts.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional adaptability to meet diverse learner needs.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or adult learners in classroom or one-on-one settings.
- Ability to adapt lessons based on individual learning styles and special education requirements.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and experience working with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Prior experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus.
