Plumbing Apprentice - Position Summary
Leib Plumbing is seeking a motivated, dependable Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade while learning from experienced licensed plumbers. You'll receive hands-on training in residential and light commercial plumbing, helping deliver exceptional service to our customers while developing the skills needed to become a licensed plumber.

What You'll Do
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment safely to job sites.
- Install and repair water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, faucets, water heaters, disposals, and other plumbing components.
- Assist with sewer, drain, and water line repairs.
- Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Accurately document completed work and materials used.
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Leib Plumbing professionally.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and apprenticeship education.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Preferred
- Enrollment in a plumbing apprenticeship program.
- Previous construction, maintenance, HVAC, or mechanical experience.
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience operating basic power tools.

Physical Requirements

- Safely operate tools and equipment.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends for emergency service rotations
Pay
$18–$28 per hour, depending on experience, plus opportunities for overtime and performance-based increases.
