Summary:
Ballad Health will have a Supply Chain Information Systems Specialist II that is responsible for daily maintenance and configuration of supply chain components within Lawson that support operational effectiveness for patient care. The team member is expected to support and comply with the organization’s Lawson software upgrade commitments led by Information Systems. The team member is responsible for data configuration and integrity for all systems outside of Lawson such as EPIC (EHR) system for pricing, as well as maintenance of associated pars and PO purchase history data needed by GPO, freight management, and benchmarking partners. The team member must possess a working knowledge accompanied by a resilient focus on the supply chain modules of Lawson to support areas such as Corporate Purchasing, Central Supply, Receiving, Business Owners, Accounts Payable, and Information Systems. The team member must have the requisite expertise, education, and communication skills to work collaboratively with all supply chain and business owners to fully support Supply Chain platforms.
Requirements:
A college four-year bachelor’s degree; plus, either a healthcare industry supply chain certification or a master’s degree (in business, logistics, finance, information technology, or logistics). A minimum of 4 years of relevant supply chain experience is required. A basic knowledge of supply chain activates, inventory control, purchasing, and information systems is required. A familiarization with Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) or similar EDI value-added networks is required. High competence in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Access) is expected. Familiarity with a Supply Chain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is required.
