Job Title: In-Home Caregiver
Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of each client.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organization.
- Remind clients to take medications as directed (non-medical).
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Follow each client’s individualized care plan and agency policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous caregiving, home health, or CNA experience is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
