We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead Arbor Terrace Basking Ridge. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven senior living leader who excels at building strong teams, driving operational and financial performance, and creating an outstanding experience for residents, families, and team members.
As the Executive Director, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day operations of the community, including full P&L accountability. You will set the tone for the community and ensure excellence across resident care, team engagement, financial performance, sales and occupancy, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the community
Maintain full responsibility for the community's P&L, budgeting, and financial performance
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team of department leaders
Drive strong resident, family, and team member satisfaction
Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to support occupancy and revenue goals
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for residents and team members
Establish clear expectations and accountability while fostering a positive, collaborative culture
Identify opportunities to continuously improve operational performance and the resident experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Active New Jersey CALA license required
At least 3 years of senior living operations leadership experience, ideally at the Executive Director/Administrator level
Demonstrated success managing P&L, budgets, occupancy, and financial goals
Proven ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing leadership teams
Strong knowledge of employee performance management and relevant HR practices
Thorough understanding of senior living regulations, operational best practices, and industry trends
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as experience utilizing CRM and operational systems
Salary Range: $170,000–$175,000 annually
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership success.
