Duties
- Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent flavor and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to uphold food safety standards.
- Organize and stock kitchen supplies, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods by assisting with meal assembly and plating when needed.
- Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by adhering to safety protocols and working collaboratively with team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in fine dining or catering environments.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred.
- Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and food service operations.
