Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

Provide prompt, courteous service to guests in the bar and casino areas

Maintain a friendly and pleasant atmosphere while serving beverages
-
Deliver timely food and beverage service in accordance with quality standards
-
Greet guests warmly using company-approved hospitality verbiage
-
Adhere to the 1/3/5 rule: greet within one minute, serve within three, and check back every five minutes
-
Place orders with bartender, inspect for quality, garnish appropriately, and serve with cocktail napkin
-
Resolve guest issues courteously and notify supervisor of complaints
-
Verify age by requesting ID from guests appearing under 30
-
Clear tables and refresh guest areas after each service; maintain clean ashtrays and cocktail napkins
-
Upsell and suggest menu items, specials, and beverages
-
Learn and use guest names to personalize service
-
Perform prep tasks such as stocking and cleaning when not actively serving
-
Enforce guest limit regulations firmly and courteously
-
Maintain uniform and appearance in compliance with company standards

Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 21 years of age
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
2 years of beverage serving experience in a high-volume bar or full-service restaurant preferred
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Proficient in basic math
-
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff and other departments
-
Fully understands and adheres to company and departmental policies and procedures
-
Displays a fun and engaging attitude toward work, creating a positive guest experience
-
Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals in English

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management

Capable of conveying information clearly and professionally in high-pressure or fast-paced situations

Able to understand and respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with courtesy and accuracy

Must be able to document incidents, complete reports, and follow written instructions precisely

Proficiency in communicating policies, procedures, and expectations to team members

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations

Valid Clark County Health Card required.

Valid Alcohol Awareness Card required in accordance with local and state regulations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly required to stand for extended periods and use hands to handle tools, equipment, and objects
