What You’ll Do
- Lead the Floor: Direct the host, serving, and bussing teams to ensure smooth dining room flow, timely service, and optimized seating capacity during peak lunch, dinner, and event rushes.
- Drive Excellence: Uphold exceptional dining standards, actively engaging with guests to guarantee satisfaction and resolving any concerns immediately and professionally.
- Empower the Team: Train, mentor, and supervise front-of-house staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and highly efficient work environment.
- Collaborate: Partner with the culinary team to monitor ticket times and ensure seamless communication between the front and back of house.
- Manage Operations: Oversee daily floor assignments, conduct engaging pre-shift meetings, and manage closing financial reports and cash handling procedures.
What You Bring
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant, fine dining, or premium hospitality setting.
- A strong understanding of dining room pacing and the ability to manage service flow effectively for both diners and event-goers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- An approachable, highly professional demeanor that inspires your team and builds rapport with our guests.
