Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in helping patients understand their treatment plans, ensuring smooth scheduling, and facilitating financial and insurance processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and the dental team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures, costs, and timelines
- Assist patients in understanding their dental insurance benefits and coverage
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments according to treatment plans
- Provide cost estimates and financing options, and help patients navigate payment plans
- Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments and treatment progress
- Manage patient records, ensuring all treatment information is accurately documented
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and patient care
- Handle patient concerns and ensure a positive experience throughout the treatment process
- Maintain an organized treatment coordinator area and ensure all paperwork is up to date
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting, preferably in treatment coordination
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to discuss treatment options and costs clearly and compassionately
- Proficiency in dental software and office systems
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
