Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) to join our healthcare team in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The ideal candidate will be experienced in blood specimen collection, patient care, and maintaining accurate documentation while following all safety and infection-control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection safely and accurately.
- Properly identify patients and label, handle, and transport specimens.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform other phlebotomy-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- CPT-1 or CPT-2 certification required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts and maintain a professional, dependable work ethic.
Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,450.00 per week
