Outdoor Power Equipment Parts & Sales Associate
Position Summary
Outdoor power equipment Parts and Sales Associate assists customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing replacement parts and accessories for small engines and outdoor power equipment. This position provides excellent customer service while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting repair technicians with parts procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person, by phone, and via email with parts identification and sales.
- Research and locate correct replacement parts using parts catalogs, diagrams, and computer systems.
- Process sales transactions, quotations, special orders, and returns.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, stocking, labeling, and cycle counting.
- Support service technicians by providing necessary parts for repairs and maintenance work.
- Recommend related products, accessories, and maintenance items to customers.
- Track backorders and communicate order status updates to customers.
- Keep the parts department organized, clean, and properly stocked.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and maintain accurate sales records.
- Follow company safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, parts sales, or equipment industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of small engines, lawn and garden equipment, chainsaws, generators, or outdoor power equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read parts diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay Range:
$15-20 Hour
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
