Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Support quick service operations by efficiently managing order flow during busy periods while maintaining accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or a fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing are essential.
- Experience in customer service roles that involve serving guests or retail environments will help you excel in this position.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy setting while managing multiple tasks with strong time management skills.
