Overview
We are hiring 2 Production Supervisors for our client, Carmeuse Lime & Stone, one will work at their Clear Brook, VA facility and the other at either their Strasburg or Middletown, VA facility. The Production Supervisors will work hand in hand with the Production Managers to oversee the quarry mining & processing of aggregates. These are 1st shift positions with the starting salary of $80,000 - $93,000 plus 7% AIP bonus, medical, 401k & paid vacation. Below are additional details:
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mining & production activities, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Manage employee productivity, job performance, and overall production efficiencies within the quarry
- Review barriers identified during shift turn over meetings to develop and monitor action plans to overcome obstacles & ensure production targets are met
- Implement training plans to provide employees with the necessary training to perform their job safely and effectively
- Manage data capture including but not limited to SAP inputs, timecard administration, EMS system, Blast reporting, etc.
- Maintain a safe workplace and work culture
Requirements
- Candidates must have a Associates or Bachelors Degree preferably in Mining, Engineering or similar with at least a year of experience in Mining or Industrial setting
- Basic knowledge or mime planning & execution
- Experience with resource allocation & scheduling
- Positive & proactive attitude with the ability to address issues & implement solutions
- Detail & process oriented with strong problem solving abilities
Pay: $80,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
