Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to repair, and maintain a wide range automotive vehicles.
Core Technical & Repair Responsibilities
- System Diagnostics: Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment (OBD-II scanners) and traditional road tests to identify mechanical, electrical, or software malfunctions.
- Brake Systems: Inspect, repair, and replace brake pads, rotors, and calipers.
- Electrical Systems: Replace batteries, bulbs, and pigtails.
Routine Maintenance
- Fluid Services: Perform oil changes, coolant and wiper fluid top offs, and brake fluid.
- Tire & Wheel Care: Execute tire rotations, balancing, and alignments, while assessing tread wear for safety.
- Preventative Inspections: Conduct multi-point inspections on belts, hoses, filters, and spark plugs to catch minor issues before they become major failures.
Administrative & Shop Operations
- Cost Estimation: Provide accurate labor and parts estimates to service coordinators or customers before beginning work.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings within a shop management system.
- Shop Upkeep: Keep work bays clean and organized; maintain and calibrate shop tools to ensure they remain in safe working order.
- Parts Procurement: Coordinate with the parts department or external vendors to source necessary components for timely repairs.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
