Love Out Loud Counseling & Consulting Services, LLC is a growing, client-centered private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and children. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Position Summary
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide outpatient counseling services through a combination of in-office and telehealth appointments. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving clients across the lifespan, values clinical excellence, and enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples counseling to clients of all ages.
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and practice staff.
- Participate in team meetings and trainings as requested.
- Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
QualificationsRequired
- Active Alabama LPC, LICSW, or ALC license in good standing.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
- Reliable internet access for telehealth services.
Preferred
- Previous outpatient counseling experience.
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
- Ability to maintain a consistent caseload.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and time-management skills.
