Construction Materials Technician
(Field & Laboratory)

We are currently seeking experienced and entry-level Construction Materials Technicians to perform both field and laboratory testing. As a Construction Materials Technician, you will have the opportunity for professional growth and advancement with competitive pay.

Construction Materials Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills and good communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Rhode Island driver’s license
- Applicable certifications include: ACI, ICC, PCI, CWI, NETTCP, and NICET
Construction Materials Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling, testing, and monitoring of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate and rock on construction sites and in laboratory settings
- Perform physical testing in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
- Accurately enter test results and inspection data into electronic report templates
- Prepare clear, accurate testing and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project stakeholders, laboratory staff and supervisors
