At Chick-fil-A Old Bridge, we are looking for experienced Kitchen/Back of House leaders to help grow our team! We’re looking for leaders who have a passion for food, food safety, developing others, and career advancement. Shift leaders are a crucial part of our fast-paced business. Your efforts keep our guests safe while preparing and delivering delicious, crave-able food!
Being our Shift Leader requires you to work fast-paced in our high volume restaurant. Shift Leader runs shifts in the front-of-house or back-of-house, helps train employees, and supports the Manager in Charge for each shift. While the Shift Leader is a management position, we expect our managers to be willing to help in all areas of the restaurant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Run shifts without any supervision
-
Supports the senior leadership team by completing any delegated tasks
-
Organize personnel on shift, and challenge the team to strive for excellence for hospitality, speed of service and cleanliness of the restaurant

Takes action to solve customer issues or complaints as they arise
-
Execute proper security and cash handling procedures with team
-
Leads by example, using our CORE 4 model to serve guests: make eye contact, share a smile, speak enthusiastically and make a connection
-
Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Senior Leadership Team
-
Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all reporting employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
-
Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks for the specific area the Shift Supervisor oversees
-
Responsible for inventory & facilities management
-
Complete understanding of each key position for all shifts in back of the store and general understanding of each key position in front of house

All other duties as assigned
