Electrical Innovators is seeking an experienced, dependable Electrician to join our growing team and parent company TCP General Contacting. We specialize in residential kitchen, bathroom renovation and full-home remodeling throughout Southern California.
We are looking for a skilled electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a construction team, and can confidently handle residential electrical work from rough-in through finish.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical work for kitchen, bathroom, and full-home remodeling projects
- Install and relocate outlets, switches, lighting, recessed lighting, and dedicated circuits
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
- Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, breakers, and circuits
- Read and follow construction plans, electrical layouts, and project specifications
- Diagnose electrical issues and complete necessary repairs or corrections
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, cabinet installers, plumbers, and other trades
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
- Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional electrical experience preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 3 years of residential service experience running jobs independently
- Deep understanding of NEC requirements.
- Have all electrical related hand tools and power tools
- Strong residential remodeling and construction electrical experience
- Knowledge of current electrical codes and proper installation practices
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
- Experience with electrical panels, lighting, outlets, switches, circuits, and remodel rough-ins
- Must have your own basic electrical hand tools - other tools provided by us.
- Valid driver's license
- You will drive a company vehicle
- Must have a Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs.
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with construction and electrical work
Required Technical Skills
- Bend and install EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduit
- Troubleshoot residential electrical systems independently.
- Install and replace: Outlets and GFCIs; 3-way and 4-way switches; Ceiling fans; Smoke detectors; Exhaust fans; Lighting fixtures; EV chargers
- Complete whole-home rewires and remodel projects
- Service Upgrades & Panels – Install subpanels; 200A–400A service upgrades; Meter-main combinations; Multi-meter systems (5+ meter banks); Switchgear installations;
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite and company vehicle
- Ensure all work is code-compliant and completed safely
- Explain electrical issues and recommended solutions
- Deliver high-quality customer experience
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Complete any paperwork for billing/office
