Job Overview
A Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor directs all overnight warehouse operations, leading and motivating staff to maintain high productivity while ensuring strict adherence to safety and security protocols. They oversee inventory accuracy, coordinate workflow, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently to support smooth day‑to‑day logistics.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support night-shift warehouse staff to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Oversee shipping operations.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct safety checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate logistics to prevent delays.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching and feedback.
- Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance for night-shift employees.
- Handle facility security, including locking procedures and alarm systems.
- Communicate with day-shift teams to ensure smooth operational transitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of warehouse supervision or management experience, demonstrating the ability to oversee teams and daily operations effectively.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics coordination, and workflow optimization.
- Proven leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop staff in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Capability to work overnight shifts and navigate challenges specific to night operations with independence and sound judgment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment, along with proficiency in warehouse management systems and related software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
