Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training on food safety, proper handling techniques, and culinary standards to promote a high-performance team.
- Implement and maintain strict food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management, timely service, and excellent customer experiences.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Lead staff hiring efforts by interviewing candidates and conducting ongoing training & development initiatives to foster growth.
- Develop budgets and control costs related to food production while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to diversify revenue streams and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or management experience in a quick service or fine dining setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on staff training & development and team management.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant management preferred; casual dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
