We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and fostering a welcoming environment.
- Manage POS systems such as Interstate POS and Toast POS system to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain detailed sales records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing, catering events, or banquet service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Take food orders for bar patrons
- Run food when necessary
- Accurately key in all items on the POS system
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Interstate POS and Toast POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts.
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques and customer service excellence to create memorable guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food industry calculations.
- Experience working with diverse beverage menus including brewing processes or specialty cocktails is a plus.
Pay
Minimum wage - 2.13-7.25 an hour + tips.
