Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician
Fire 1 Services is hiring motivated individuals to join our growing Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning team. We are looking for dependable, hardworking employees who take pride in their work and are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Location
Based in the New Orleans Metro Area with travel to commercial kitchens throughout Southeast Louisiana.

What You'll Do
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans in accordance with NFPA 96 standards.
- Set up ladders, roof access equipment, and job site protection.
- Safely use pressure washers, degreasers, and specialized cleaning equipment.
- Complete digital inspection reports with photos.
- Identify deficiencies such as damaged fans, missing hinge kits, grease containment issues, worn belts, and other maintenance concerns.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Work safely and professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in commercial kitchens.
- Able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Mechanically inclined is a plus.
- Previous hood cleaning, pressure washing, HVAC, construction, roofing, or restaurant maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Primarily Sunday through Thursday nights.
- Occasional Friday or Saturday work as needed.
- Overtime available during busy periods.
