Morningstar Memory Care is looking for an energetic, compassionate Weekend 2nd Shift CNA/CMA to join our team. Our residents need more than caregivers—they need people who bring smiles, patience, and a little fun to their day.
Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Morningstar Memory Care, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. You will be responsible for safely administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting the overall health and well-being of those in your care. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of older adults living with memory care needs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where every shift matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Passing medications & working in point click care.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and residents’ well-being.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA or CMA certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Experience in assisted living or healthcare preferred.
