Our client, an industry leader in oilfield services, is seeking an Engineering Technician/Technologist to join their team. As an Engineering Technician/Technologist, you will be part of the technical support department supporting field operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Technician/Technologist
Location: Sugarland, Texas
Pay Range: $32 Hourly
What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in field operations
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform maintenance and testing activities on downhole tools and related equipment
- Utilize computer-based software systems to support equipment diagnostics and operations
- Learn and support wireline cable-related operations as part of ongoing development within the role
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a closely related technical field
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and electronic troubleshooting
- Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuit troubleshooting
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications used for equipment diagnostics and operations
