Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with architects, engineers, contractors and third-party consultants concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling.
- Prepare and/or review project contracts and develop budgets.
- Conduct requests for proposals, complete bid analysis, make final selection recommendations.
- Assist in attaining permits as needed.
- Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets and approved timelines consistently throughout each project, providing useful progress reports to management along the way.
- Interface with general contractors or subcontractors on change orders, purchase orders and schedules.
- Coordinate and maintain construction schedules, reporting any potential deviations from schedule.
- Conduct regular property inspections and complete progress reports during construction period, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and plan specifications.
- Provide resolution to onsite problems, which potentially may increase cost or schedule.
- Responsible for the construction document retention according to policies.
- Create project punch lists and seek resolution to any open items.
- Prepare project close out reports upon completion.
Qualifications
- BA or BS preferred; ten or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand agreements/contracts, site plans, building plans, drawings, leases, surveys, and work letters.
- Solid track record of managing multiple jobs in varying stages simultaneously
- Ability to deliver under pressure or fast paced environments is preferred.
- Commercial interior renovations project and/or construction management experience is preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Teams, and Microsoft Project.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
