Position Available: Service Porter / Yard Attendant
Roy’s Trucks & Equipment, Inc. is a family-owned commercial truck and trailer dealership that’s been a trusted name in the industry since 1997. Located on an 8-acre facility, we specialize in pre-owned equipment and pride ourselves on a supportive, hands-on work environment where every team member makes a difference.
As a Service Porter / Yard Attendant, you’ll help keep our operations running smoothly—making sure trucks are started, moved, maintained, and ready for sale or delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Start and warm up diesel trucks daily to ensure proper battery and system health
- Move vehicles between service bays, make-ready areas, and display lots
- Clean and prepare vehicles for customer pickup or display
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to assist with inventory and materials
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard, shop, and common areas
- Assist with basic landscaping and grounds upkeep
- Assist with checking in new items and marking known issues
- Assist with pictures for new ads and listings
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience operating a forklift
- Attention to detail and pride in doing a job right
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience in a dealership or service shop
- Basic knowledge of trucks or diesel equipment
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
