Production Engineers support our Lead Manufacturing Engineers with the operational execution of Creare’s production-focused projects, bring a rigorous engineering mindset to hardware fabrication and assembly, and ensure that high-technology components meet stringent application requirements. Specific duties include:
Support Lead Manufacturing Engineers by driving the production process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
Oversee parts procurement, evaluate vendors, source specialized materials, and manage ongoing supplier relationships
Collaborate closely with external manufacturers and vendors to track/expedite materials and services, ensuring strict adherence to engineering standards and project deadlines
Utilize and maintain electronic production management systems
Identify and mitigate production bottlenecks to streamline fabrication and assembly processes
Understand quality standards, ensuring that all project requirements are met and documented appropriately
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to guide electronic and mechanical parts through internal and external production processes
Education: Engineering degree (from an ABET-accredited institution) or a related technical engineering discipline is required.
Experience: Experience in production, technical manufacturing, or planning, preferably within an R&D, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication techniques, mechanical/electronic assembly, and technical drawing interpretation. Direct experience utilizing ERP software and managing supply chain mechanics is desired.
Methodologies: Understanding of manufacturing principles and improvement strategies. Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 quality standards is highly desirable.

Creare offers a competitive compensation package, including but not limited to a substantial annual staff bonus, industry-leading 401(k) contributions and plan options, and a range of medical plan offerings. Starting salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 per year, based on level of education completed and years of relevant experience.
