Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Cleaner/Grounds Crew member to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor and indoor spaces. Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to ensure a clean environment.
- Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, and trimming to promote healthy turf and attractive landscapes.
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Operate equipment like lawn mowers, snow plows, excavators, and irrigation systems to support seasonal outdoor maintenance.
- Assist with landscape projects including hardscape installation, tree trimming, gardening, and horticultural care.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds for safety hazards or maintenance needs; report issues promptly.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe pathways and parking areas.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as lawn mowers, excavators, snow plows, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning; familiarity with hardscape features is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
