Duties
- Assist in diagnosing appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Support the repair and replacement of components in appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units
- Learn to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics to identify faults accurately
- Participate in the assembly, disassembly, and testing of appliances and equipment for repairs
- Aid delivery drivers with equipment handling and ensure safe transportation of appliances in box trucks or similar vehicles
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair processes and maintenance tips
Experience
- No prior appliance repair experience required; training will be provided on-the-job
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with electrical systems is a plus
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC systems, or electrical troubleshooting enhances your potential success in this role
- Ability to work outdoors or in varied environments while maintaining safety standards
