Tri-County Animal Rescue is seeking a compassionate, outgoing, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to help support our lifesaving mission. This position plays an important role in connecting our rescue with the community through events, donor relations, sponsorships, partnerships, and day-to-day administrative support.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about animal welfare. This person should enjoy building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and helping create meaningful experiences for adopters, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events, adoption events, and community outreach activities
- Support partnership and sponsorship development with local businesses, donors, and community organizations
- Communicate professionally with donors, sponsors, adopters, volunteers, vendors, and supporters
- Draft thank-you letters, donor acknowledgements, sponsorship communications, and other correspondence
- Help maintain organized donor records, event files, sponsorship information, and contact databases
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, calendars, and event logistics
- Assist with social media content, event promotions, marketing materials, and community engagement efforts
- Support fundraising campaigns, donation tracking, and administrative reporting
- Provide general administrative and office support to help daily operations run smoothly
- Represent Tri-County Animal Rescue in a positive, compassionate, and professional manner
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to build positive relationships within the community
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Professional writing, proofreading, and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced rescue environment
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for animal welfare and nonprofit work preferred

Compensation
