We are looking for more Veterinary Assistance! We are a new veterinary practice that just opened in Monroe, OH in September of 2020 and are rapidly growing. We are conveniently located off I-75 and the Route 63 exit, near the outlet malls. This practice is looking to hire an individual as a veterinary assistant.

The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to restrain animals, and have basic knowledge of vaccination protocols and preventative medicine. Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Greeting clients and their pets
- Taking phone messages, responding to text messages and emails
- Scheduling appointments
- Client Communication
- Cleaning
- Gathering patient histories, including knowledge of what vaccinations to recommend
- Educate clients on services and products we provide.
- Safely restrain animals
- Assist with blood draws, xray, and other procedures
- Bathing patients; nail trims; ear cleanings
- Monitoring patients under veterinary technician or veterinarian supervision
The hours will be for day shifts and one to two Saturdays a month (half day). We are open currently four business days a week so everyone has a standing day off a week. There are no on-call hours.
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on level of experience.
