About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist to conduct telehealth autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic evaluations. There are many parents actively seeking help getting their children properly evaluated for ASD so they can access appropriate therapy services — this is a high-demand, high-impact opportunity to directly expand access to early autism diagnosis.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and adolescents
- Administer or interpret standardized assessment tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R, Vineland-3, CARS-2, M-CHAT-R, or equivalent)
- Review developmental history, caregiver interviews, and behavioral observations
- Issue formal ASD diagnostic reports (DSM-5 criteria) that meet insurance/Medicaid requirements to authorize ABA therapy services
- Collaborate with our intake team on scheduling and report turnaround
- Maintain compliance with telehealth regulations across all states of practice
Qualifications
One of the following required:
- Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician (MD/DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics)
- Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO, board-certified)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with ASD diagnostic assessment experience
Also required:
- Active, unrestricted medical/psychology license in at least one state — multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain licensure in additional states preferred (PSYPACT participation a plus for psychologists)
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder in pediatric populations
- Experience with telehealth/virtual evaluation platforms
- Strong, timely documentation skills — insurance-compliant diagnostic reports
- Comfortable working with a high volume of referrals in a fast-paced remote environment
Nice to have:
- Experience working directly with ABA agencies or early intervention programs
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation standards
