Job Summary
The Program Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the delivery of services and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Ohio. This role involves strategic planning, program implementation, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Program Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management:
- Design, implement, and manage programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure programs align with the agency’s mission and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.
- Staff Supervision and Development:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage program budgets.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Seek and manage funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency and external stakeholders, including families, service providers, and community organizations.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to enhance service delivery.
- Represent the agency at meetings, conferences, and public events.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all programs comply with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of service.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and funding sources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
- Analyze data to inform program improvements and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, or psychology preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in the field of developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to developmental disabilities.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
