Job Title: Correctional Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Waymart, PA
Pay Rate: $63.81 per hour
Shift: First role- 2nd shift (14:00-22:30) (Additional info-half hour unpaid lunch. Holiday as prescheduled. Off every other weekend rotating days off during the week.)

Position Summary
The Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals within a correctional facility. The RN works under the direction of healthcare administrators and in collaboration with correctional staff to ensure safe, ethical, and effective healthcare delivery in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
- Monitor and evaluate patient health status and document findings accurately.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and crisis intervention.
- Administer physician-ordered medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with policy.
- Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and correctional officers.
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards.
- Maintain security awareness while delivering healthcare services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (correctional, ER, or psychiatric experience preferred).
