Overview
House of Lolo is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and sales-focused Regional Director of Expansion and Sales to lead the daily operations of our high-end clothing boutique. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue, developing a high-performing team, cultivating meaningful client relationships, and ensuring that every aspect of the store reflects the elevated standards of the House of Lolo brand.
In addition to overseeing retail operations, this role will be responsible for driving the growth of the House of Lolo brand through franchise development. The successful candidate will actively identify, recruit, cultivate, and support qualified franchise candidates while serving as an ambassador for the company and its culture.
This individual will work closely with executive leadership to expand the brand into new markets, ensuring every new location reflects House of Lolo design philosophy, operational excellence, and customer experience standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys maintaining an active presence on the sales floor while also managing the operational, merchandising, inventory, staffing, and business-development needs of the store. They should have a strong understanding of luxury retail, personal styling, clienteling, and the importance of creating a highly personalized shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and client retention.
- Lead by example through active selling, styling, and client engagement on the sales floor.
- Coach store associates on effective selling techniques, product knowledge, styling, client development, and relationship-based sales.
- Establish clear individual and team sales goals and regularly communicate progress toward those goals.
- Identify business opportunities within the store, local market, and existing client base.
- Develop creative initiatives to generate sales, including private appointments, client outreach, styling events, trunk shows, and local partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, and company leadership to implement business-driving strategies.
- Review store performance and provide regular reporting on sales results, customer trends, best sellers, inventory needs, and areas of opportunity.
Client Experience
- Create an elevated in-store experience that surprises, delights, and builds lasting relationships with clients.
- Maintain a consistent and visible presence on the sales floor to assist clients and monitor the quality of customer interactions.
- Build and actively manage the store’s client program, ensuring consistent and personalized outreach.
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients through thoughtful follow-up, product recommendations, appointment scheduling, and special-event invitations.
- Understand each client’s personal style, preferences, lifestyle, and wardrobe needs.
- Resolve client concerns independently, professionally, and with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.
- Monitor client feedback and continuously identify opportunities to improve the shopping experience.

Team Leadership and Culture
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain an exceptional team that reflects the vision, standards, and culture of House of Lolo.
- Align talent selection with the needs of the business and the expectations of a high-end retail environment.
- Build and maintain a strong network of qualified retail talent within the local market.

- Motivate and develop employees through ongoing coaching, sales training, product education, and performance feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings, individual check-ins, and performance evaluations.

- Manage employee scheduling according to business needs, payroll goals, store traffic, and special events.

Store Operations
- Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, cash handling, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and store maintenance.
- Oversee point-of-sale procedures, including purchases, returns, exchanges, discounts, gift cards, store credits, and daily till reconciliation.
- Ensure all operational procedures are completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and professional sales floor, fitting-room area, cash wrap, stockroom, and employee area.
- Monitor store supplies, packaging materials, equipment, and maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to loss prevention, security, safety, cash handling, and store operations.
- Provide timely feedback regarding technology, operational processes, customer experience, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify operational challenges and independently implement practical solutions.
Inventory and Product Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the store’s product assortment reflects customer demand and business needs.
- Provide ongoing feedback regarding product performance, client requests, sizing needs, best sellers, slow-moving merchandise, and opportunities for replenishment.
- Oversee the receiving, processing, tagging, steaming, placement, replenishment, transfer, and organization of merchandise.
- Partner with company leadership and the buying team to identify customer preferences and forecast product trends.
- Assist in evaluating product performance and making recommendations regarding future purchases and inventory levels.
- Maintain awareness of incoming products, preorders, waitlisted merchandise, back-in-stock items, and limited inventory.
- Ensure merchandise is properly represented and cared for throughout the store.
Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation
- Direct and maintain the store’s visual merchandising strategy in alignment with House of Lolo’s brand, seasonal direction, and concept standards.
- Ensure the selling floor consistently reflects an elevated, polished, and cohesive brand image.
- Oversee product placement, displays, mannequins, racks, tables, fitting rooms, windows, signage, and promotional materials.
- Execute seasonal floor changes, new-product launches, special installations, and merchandising updates.
- Regularly assess product placement and make strategic adjustments based on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer behavior.
- Ensure all products are appropriately steamed, styled, priced, organized, and replenished.
- Maintain the overall presentation, atmosphere, cleanliness, and organization of the boutique.
Omnichannel and E-Commerce Support
- Support the fulfillment of online orders while maintaining the highest standards of packaging, accuracy, professionalism, and brand presentation.
- Ensure online orders are processed and shipped within required timelines.
- Assist with client inquiries related to online purchases, product availability, order status, returns, and exchanges.
- Coordinate inventory between the physical store and e-commerce platforms to reduce discrepancies and prevent overselling.
- Support abandoned-cart outreach, back-in-stock communication, waitlist follow-up, and other client-engagement initiatives.
- Provide feedback regarding online product performance, inventory availability, customer requests, and sales trends.
- Partner with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure a consistent customer experience across all sales channels.
Events, Marketing, and Community Engagement
- Plan and execute trunk shows, private shopping appointments, designer events, pop-ups, and other in-store experiences.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, stylists, designers, and community partners.
- Partner with the marketing team to promote store events, new arrivals, seasonal collections, and client initiatives.
- Encourage team participation in client outreach and event attendance.
- Represent House of Lolo professionally within the local community and at industry events.
Business Strategy and Reporting
- Stay informed about fashion, luxury retail, consumer behavior, local competitors, and broader industry trends.
- Proactively identify opportunities for customer retention, new partnerships, operational improvements, and revenue growth.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for new store initiatives with clear goals, projected outcomes, and measurable results.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure the successful execution of new processes, partnerships, events, and company initiatives.
Franchise Development Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase the number of House of Lolo franchise locations nationwide.
- Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with prospective franchise owners through networking, referrals, events, and lead generation.
- Guide franchise candidates through the discovery, evaluation, and onboarding process.
- Represent House of Lolo at franchise expos, networking events, industry conferences, and community events.
- Travel regularly to prospective markets and newly opened franchise locations to provide operational guidance, training, merchandising support, and grand opening assistance.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate new market opportunities and franchise territories.
- Coordinate franchise opening timelines, ensuring each new location launches according to company standards.
- Support franchisees with merchandising, operational procedures, sales strategies, and best practices during the opening process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, preferably within luxury fashion, specialty retail, or a high-end boutique.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing or Business Administration
- Proven experience achieving sales goals and leading a results-oriented retail team.
- Strong background in clienteling, personal styling, relationship-based selling, and luxury customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, motivate, and retain employees.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory control, visual merchandising, loss prevention, and point-of-sale procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
