Build your schedule. We'll fill your caseload.
Most remote dietitian roles ask you to hustle for your own clients. We don't.
Nutrition as Therapy, Inc. has delivered plant-based Medical Nutrition Therapy since 2007. Our team of 25+ RDNs works from a steady, scheduled patient panel starting day one — no marketing yourself, no building a book of business, no wondering whether tomorrow's calendar will be empty. You show up and practice.
Where our patients are
Most of our patients are in California, with a growing panel in Texas. We're actively credentialing in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Illinois, and Colorado — so if you're licensed or licensable in any of those, tell us.
What the work actually looks like
You'll deliver evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy with a plant-forward approach to patients managing type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, chronic kidney disease, and pediatric nutrition.
We'll be direct about the pace, because it's the thing most candidates want to know and rarely get told:
- 53-minute initial assessments · 23-minute follow-ups
- Roughly one patient every 30 minutes during a shift
- Documentation is clean, structured SOAP notes — and administrative burden is deliberately kept light so your time goes to patients, not paperwork
This is a real clinical cadence. If you're an RDN who finds a full, well-run schedule energizing rather than draining, you'll do well here. If you prefer 90-minute sessions and a light panel, we're honestly not the right fit — and we'd rather say that now.
You'll work independently, but not alone: you're supported by a Program Director, a clinical Lead, and a team of fellow RDNs doing the same work.
Pay, and how you move within the band
$35–$55/hour, based on years of MNT experience, specialty credentials (CDCES, CSR, CSP, CSOWM), and demonstrated depth in plant-based practice. We'll tell you at offer exactly where you land and what moves you up.
Spanish-English bilingual clinicians receive a pay differential. Our patient population needs you, and we compensate for it.
Benefits

- A real foundation in plant-based and plant-forward nutrition — this isn't a preference we hold, it's how we practice
- Efficiency and confidence carrying a full schedule
- Comfort with telehealth technology in a fast-moving virtual environment
- Spanish fluency — strongly preferred and compensated
