Muralt’s Travel Plaza is seeking a dependable, customer-focused team member for our overnight fuel desk who takes pride in leaving every shift better than they found it.
Depending on business needs, evening shifts may also be a part of the schedule.
Every shift is a little different, but your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting professional drivers and local customers with fuel purchases
- Assisting customers with questions and resolving concerns professionally
- Operating the fuel desk and cash register accurately
- Stocking and cleaning merchandise and beverage areas
- Keeping coffee and food service areas clean and stocked
- Assisting with maintaining common areas and restrooms
- Completing shift paperwork and balancing transactions
- Preparing the store for the following shift or the morning rush
- Monitoring the facility during overnight hours
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to stay productive throughout the shift
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
Previous retail, convenience store, truck stop, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- We will train the right person.
- Success in this role means completing your responsibilities thoroughly so the next shift starts on solid footing.
- Part-time to Full-time position across overnight and evening shifts.
- Weekend and holiday availability likely required as part of a rotating schedule.
