Supports the supply chain team by ensuring the timely and accurate procurement, planning, and delivery of materials - fostering positive vendor relationships and maintaining operational efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You write and manage packaging component orders, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
- You build strong vendor relationships and resolve issues through effective corrective actions.
- You manage supplier contracts, maintain component master data, and support component product management.
- You review and resolve component quality issues by collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely corrective actions and minimize production disruptions.
- You coordinate inbound honey shipments to Barkman warehouses, scheduling deliveries to meet production deadlines while optimizing labor availability and warehouse capacity.
- You monitor and maintain VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) levels, working with vendors to replenish production facilities as needed.
TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- You have strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- You have exceptional communication skills for engaging with vendors, internal teams, and leadership.
You have proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- You have analytical problem-solving skills to address supply chain issues and support planning.
- You have a detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in orders, schedules, and reports.
