Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with phone etiquette, taking reservations, and answering questions about the menu or restaurant services.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area and host station.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with the RESY(or similar software) is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
- Experience in restaurant settings or hotels is advantageous, showcasing your ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
