Job description:
Laser Components Detector Group, Inc. has been researching, developing, and manufacturing semiconductor detectors in Phoenix since 2004. The Detector Group specializes in engineering custom developments of individual configurations, resulting in high-performance Silicon Photodiodes, InGaAs Avalanche Photodiodes (APD), pyroelectric detectors, and Lead Salt IR Detectors for use in the detection of the smallest amounts of light and radiation. We fabricate, assemble, and test most of these products in-house. Our product range extends from low-cost APDs for commercial applications to high-end components used in military applications. Our products feature in cutting edge applications such as LiDAR for autonomous vehicles, drone technology, satellite missions to name just a few. We also specialize in building complete receivers that are engineered to demonstrate high sensitivity, high wavelength range, and large frequency width.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the entire supply chain in production toward improving productivity and efficiency.
- Process and schedule orders based on priorities and lead-time commitments. Work with the production supervisors to set priority of orders daily to meet OTD goals.
- Provide daily customer service and support on order status, RMA status, lead times, etc.
- Send purchase orders to suppliers/vendors/contract manufacturers, and stay on top of purchase order status
- Ensuring revenue goals are met through meticulous planning, proper order spacing and allocation to capacity.
- Assess inventory levels and issue purchase orders to address production needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in the field or industry
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management
- Familiarity with ERP or other order management software/systems
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Data analytics skills and experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
- Adept at using presentation software and presenting complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders
- Experience using System Applications
Basic Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE Minimum 4 years relevant order processing, planning, customer support, purchasing/buyer work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
