Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment across various properties.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic devices.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for compliance and future reference.
- Assist with HVAC system upgrades or new installations by applying knowledge of HVAC design principles.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes; communicate effectively with team members and managers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and service calls.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and/or HVAC design plans accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration units.
- Experience working in field service roles requiring troubleshooting on-site using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques; capable of performing minor repairs on metal components when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical experience with property maintenance tasks such as equipment repair or boiler servicing is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately; familiarity with HVAC design concepts is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
