We are looking for a highly competent and skilled security officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any wrongdoings and maintaining order to the properties as per our clients request.
Level 3 Armed Security Officer MUST have Active Guard card in hand.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas by bicycle to deter criminal activity, vandalism and safety hazards.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, emergencies and request assistance.
- Observe, investigate and accurately report incidents, accidents and policy violations.
- Enforce company policies, client rules and applicable laws while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Remove any wrongdoers or trespassers
- Investigate people for suspicious activity.
Skills:
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Strong report- writing abilities.
- Physical fitness to patrol for extended periods by bicycle.
- Knowledge of Emergency response procedures.
- A customer- service-oriented attitude combined with strong conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in high- stress situations.
1 Year Incentive:
Hourly wage increase based on performance, attendance and compliance with the company standards.
Annual review will determine raise eligibility and amount.
