ESTIMATOR JR. CONTRACTOR
Full-Time Position | Raleigh, North Carolina
Demolition & Asbestos Removal, Inc. (DARI) is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our Raleigh Division.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional with 12 years of construction or estimating experience who is ready to develop their skills and build a career in the environmental remediation and demolition industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
12 years of estimating, construction, engineering, or related industry experience
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, project management, and field teams
Bluebeam or other construction estimating software experience is a plus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with project cost estimates
Review project scopes and bidding requirements
Attend pre-bid meetings and project site walkthroughs
Assist with subcontractor and vendor pricing
Prepare and organize estimating documentation
Assist in developing accurate and competitive project proposals
Coordinate with project managers and field personnel throughout the estimating process
