Hawkins High School is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Head Coach to lead the JV program while serving as an integral member of the varsity coaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about player development and committed to building a unified basketball program.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, dedicated, and enthusiastic about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. The JV Head Coach will be responsible for preparing players to contribute at the varsity level by teaching fundamentals, fostering a competitive mindset, and emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and accountability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Prior Basketball experience as a player or coach preferred
Required Certifications (must have or be willing to obtain):
- First Aid/CPR (Red Cross)
- NFHS Certifications (via ):
- Coaching Fundamentals
- Heat Illness Prevention
- Concussion Training
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
