W.R. Robinson Lumber, located in Hardwick, Massachusetts, has proudly served contractors, builders, homeowners, and businesses throughout New England for more than 50 years. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Retail Sales & Customer Service Specialist to join our team.
This position offers a variety of responsibilities including customer service, retail sales, order fulfillment, deliveries, and inventory stocking. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable in a hands-on retail environment.
Responsibilities
· Provide outstanding customer service to retail and contractor customers
· Assist customers with product selection and sales transactions
· Put customer orders together accurately and efficiently
· Make deliveries as needed
· Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory displays
· Help keep the store, warehouse, and yard clean and organized
· Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
Requirements
· Customer service and/or retail sales experience preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to lift and move merchandise as required
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
· Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
· 45-hour work week
