Carl Fischer Music is seeking a motivated, part-time Office Operations Assistant to support company operations by helping to maintain office logistics and communications, support executives and personnel with administrative and office management functions. This position will report to the CEO and will also serve as the primary liaison for some human resource-related needs, inquiries and assistance.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Maintain an organized and pleasant environment for the office
- Keep track of and order office supplies
- Maintain office machines (printers, computers, kitchen appliances etc.)
- Manage communication with building management (such as building access keys, maintenance and repairs, coordinating the freight elevator, etc.)
- Manage building coordination, including security protocols, visitor access, and deliveries
- Manage recruitment process: post job descriptions, schedule and conduct preliminary interviews
- Manage internship program: conduct preliminary interview, help train, assign and monitor interns
- Facilitate administrative and logistical onboarding processes for new hires and interns (set up work stations, computers, etc.)
- Occasionally make travel arrangements, audit and process expense reports
- Assist CEO and other managers with administrative or research projects
- Assist Accounting with tasks such as processing incoming checks
- Administer various light HR duties
- Plan and organize company events such as holiday parties and company picnics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of related work experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to prioritize work with strong multi-tasking, organizational and project-management skills
- Ability to work well with managers and staff alike
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Word
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Knowledge of classical music or publishing a plus but not required
