Monadnock Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join its Antrim Medical Group. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a compassionate healthcare professional who enjoys working in a collaborative primary care setting.
What You'll Do
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, laboratory testing, and other clinical procedures within your scope of practice.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments while ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms.
- Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
- Process referrals, lab requisitions, and other clinical documentation.
- Respond to patient phone calls and provide follow-up instructions as directed by the provider.
- Monitor and order clinical supplies as needed.
- Assist with additional clinical duties as assigned.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications Required
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or active LPN/LVN license
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program (minimum two years)
- At least two years of recent Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or clinic
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
