Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Surgical/Periodontal Registered Dental Assistant to join our start-up specialty practice. In this role, you will provide chairside assistance during surgical and periodontal procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient management will contribute to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Duties
- Assist the periodontist during surgical, sedation, periodontal, and hygiene procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and the treatment area
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques to maintain clinical confidentiality policies and uphold patient safety standards
- Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, while ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed
- Manage patient records accurately using the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems including documenting vital signs and medical history
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to sterilization procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
- Educate patients on oral health care, post-operative instructions, and procedural details using clear dental terminology
- Support patient management by updating medical documentation, and assisting with general patient care needs

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
