Work Availability
- Monday-Friday Availability, as well as on call for road service
Required Skills
In this position you will be doing the following:
- Performing routine and scheduled PM’s on all company equipment such as tractors, straight-trucks, trailers and forklifts
- Light duty road service
- Repair or replace defective parts such as starters, alternators, belts, and hoses.
- Rewire or install new lights
- replace and adjust brakes
- replace brake chambers
- shock absorbers
- repair and maintain coolant systems
- DOT Inspections and smoke tests,
- Hydraulic repair
- clutch repair
- Anything else related to being a diesel tech
Preferred Experience
- CDL license
- 2 or more years of related experience and/or equivalent training
- knowledge of electrical, driveline, brake, engine, suspension and other systems
- Ability to work on hydraulic/electric lift-gate equipment
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Have own tools

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
