Position is responsible for ensuring that overall objectives, policies, programs, and fiscal practices of the Golf Course and Grounds at the Resort are implemented, administrated and are maintained according to Company requirements.
All changes in policies, procedures, schedules, processes or personnel require GM or AGM advance approval.
Must treat all employees and guests with professionalism at all times.
Responsible for delegating to subordinates appropriate authority to fulfill portion of assigned responsibility but may not delegate or relinquish overall responsibility for results or any portion of final accountability.
Responsible for maintaining budgeted goals for the Golf Course and Grounds.
Responsible for interpreting and enforcing the policies, rules and regulations of the Resort.
Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of developments in the world of golf and presenting the facility as being a leader in a positive innovation.
Responsible for supervising and maintaining responsibility for detailed operation at the Golf Couse, and perhaps Tubing Hill.
Responsible for hiring, evaluating, training, disciplining, and/or terminating employees according to facility policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining all pertinent inspections, equipment log sheets and annual servicing of equipment as it relates to the PA Department of Agriculture Amusement Ride division.
Responsible for the overall scheduling of the golf course to ensure that guests, tournament functions, etc. do not pose any conflict, revising schedules as required.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area for employees and guests.
Responsible for assuring compliance of all company policies as outlined for all employees.
Other primary duties as needed or required by business demands.
Responsible for grounds throughout property, assuring they are mowed, weed whacked and free from any litter/ debris.
Must have attention to detail pertaining to the grounds/property.
Responsible for snow plowing through-out property.
Snowmaking and grooming operation knowledge.
May be required to handle special projects as assigned.
Other secondary functions as necessary for the operation of the department and the company.
Previous experience in Grounds/ Landscaping, golf industry and general knowledge of large-scale activity and amenity operations.
Previous supervisory experience necessary, 2 + yrs.
Must have transportation available during working hours.
Must have clear speaking voice.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have attention to detail pertaining to grounds/landscaping
Must have good presentation skills.
Must have valid drivers license.
Must have knowledge of small and heavy equipment used on golf course and grounds.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
